State Level :-

      The State Level sanctioning  committee (SLSC) set up under Rastriya Kisan Vikas Yogna (RKVY) is the apex body to approve State Extension work plan (SEWP) which will form a part of State Agriculture Plane. SLSC will be supported by inter departmental working group (IDWG) and will be responsible for coordination and management of the Scheme activity at the state Level .The State Nodel cell (SNC) consisting of State Nodel officer and State coordinator ensures timely receipt of Distt. Agriculture action plan (DAAP), formulation of SEWP duly incorporating farmers feed back obtained through State Farmer advisory committee and its approval by SLSC. The State Agriculture Management and Extension training Institute (SAMETI) Mashobra at Shimla draw up and execute an annual training calendar for capacity building of extension functionaries in the state.

Distt. Level :-

              ATMA is an autonomous institution set up at district level to ensure delivery of extension services to the farmers. The ATMA Governing Board is the apex body of ATMA which provides overall policy directions.  The ATMA GB is assisted by the Distt ATMA cell comprising Project Director ATMA, Deputy Project ATMA and staff in discharge of its functions.

ATMA Management Committee  (AMC) :-

          AMC is the executive body looking after implementation of the scheme. AMC is the Distt. level Nodal agency responsible for overall management of Agriculture extension system within distt including preparation  of  strategies research and Extension plan ( SREP).

Block Level :-

           At block level, two bodies viz Block technology team (BTT) comprising officers of Agriculture and all line departments within block and Block Farmer Advisory committee (BFAC) comprising a group of farmers of block , shall function jointly. The block level ATMA cell consisting of extension functionaries  Block Technology Manager (BTM) and Assistant Block Technology Manager (A BTM) will provide extension support within block.

          Farm School are operationalised to serve as mechanism for farmer to farmer  extension at minimum  of 4 points in every block.
